This magnificent region of the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude offers breathtaking natural landscapes that you can explore on foot or by bike. The gîte's location will appeal to you thanks to its proximity to several of the region's jewels: the ski resorts of Camurac and Ax-les-thermes, the Cathar castles of Puivert and Montségur, Lac de Belcaire and Montbel, the Labyrinthe Vert and the unusual villages of the Aude and Ariège. 2 mountain bike trails on site.
On site, this little piece of paradise is located on the edge of the forest, on the banks of the Rébounédou stream, at the foot of the Picaussel and Roc Blanc scrublands. La Font Banche offers you an immediate immersion in the nature of the Pyrenees, where peace and tranquillity will be the watchwords of your stay. A private terrace with garden furniture is at your disposal to soak up the southern sunshine. You will also have access to the entire domain. Private parking is available.
The gîte is on the first floor, accessed by an outside staircase, and opens onto a large living room with a wood-burning stove for a cosy atmosphere on winter evenings, a large dining table and sofa, and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen for 8 people. Each of the four bedrooms has two 90cm single beds that can be moved closer together. A separate shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. A second shower room with shower and washbasin. Separate WC. Shared laundry room with washing machine.
Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning in option. Pets are welcome (not enclosed - presence of a dog on the estate). central heating. For a complete break, the gîte and estate are not equipped with TV or WIFI. The estate can accommodate groups and relaxation courses.
