There is a story that a 17th century pirate captain, Sir Henry Morgan, plundered the Caribbean and while on the run from the law, sailed as far as Lim Bay to the village of Mrgani and hid his treasure there. Over a hundred years old, the converted villa still bears the old captain's debt with its stone walls, deliberately chipped bricks and plaster on the interior walls, oak beams and antique décor and furniture. Maybe the story of Captain Morgan and his treasure is just a fairy tale, but the vacation you dream of can become a reality when you book Villa Capt Morgan. On the first floor of the villa there is a spacious living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining room, which is open plan. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The second floor is divided into two parts, each with separate staircases. The left part contains two bedrooms, one is a single and the other a double, both with en-suite bathrooms. On the right part of the upper floor there is a large master bedroom called the "Captain's Room", which has an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. The exterior of the villa offers a large courtyard with a swimming pool and plenty of Mediterranean greenery. There is also a hundred-year-old mulberry tree growing in the garden, which provides plenty of pleasant shade on hot summer days. If you are traveling with children, you will really enjoy this courtyard as it offers plenty of space for carefree play. For extra fun, the villa has table tennis, table soccer, basketball hoop and darts. The courtyard also has a large covered dining area with a large fireplace where you can prepare a wonderful family meal and enjoy it together. Rovinj is only 30 minutes away by car and you will enjoy every minute of the drive through the picturesque hilly landscape. As you approach Rovinj, you will immediately be enchanted by its beauty, especially during sunsets, while you can see colorful houses on a hilly peninsula surrounded by warm colors of the sun-drenched summer sky and crystal blue sea. Rovinj is a truly romantic town. Take a walk through the narrow stone streets that slowly ascend and wind their way to the top of the hill where the old church of St. Euphemia from the 10th century is located. There is a beautiful view from the church plateau. If you climb to the top of the church tower, a clear view of the entire town and the surrounding area awaits you. In Rovinj you will find many wonderful restaurants and bistros that will satisfy the needs of every gastro enthusiast. The Istrian area is well connected by country roads, so you can easily explore the wider area. Plan your day trips to coastal and inland towns such as Pula, Groznjan, Motovun, Vodnjan, Porec, Novigrad and take the opportunity to visit the Birjuni National Park by boat.
