Gîte located in the Pays de Sault in the heart of the Audoises Pyrenees, a land of gastronomy and magnificent landscapes. Its location is ideal, as you'll be within easy reach of many places: the mountain and ski resorts of Camurac and Ax-Les-Thermes, the Cathar castles of Montségur and Puivert, the Gorges de l'Aude and the Lac de Montbel and Belcaire. It's an attractive destination for enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, with a host of hiking trails to choose from, including the Sentier Cathare, which passes through Espezel, the Sentier Nature and the Labyrinthe Vert. For cycling fans, there are a number of routes, including those used by the Tour de France. You'll love the panoramic views of this rich region, so get away from it all during your stay in Espezel. In the village you'll find all the shops you need (grocer's, baker's, butcher's, chemist's and restaurants where you can sample the delicious local cuisine). The gîte is a cocoon for four and has a lovely private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue so you can enjoy your meals outside and moments of relaxation in a large, enclosed, green outdoor space where peace and quiet will be the watchwords of your stay. The gîte opens onto a large living room with a dining area, a sitting area with sofa, connected TV and an insert fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a bar and a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a safe for your personal belongings. The first bedroom has a double bed (140cm) and direct access to the separate shower room, which is also accessible from the living room. It has a large walk-in shower, washbasin and WC. A second bedroom with a double bed (140cm). Private, secure parking on the property. WIFI connection. Baby equipment available on request. Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included; additional consumption to be paid to the owner at the end of your stay. Sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning optional. Pets are welcome. For the fireplace 1/2 stere of wood is provided at the beginning of the stay, for more quantities in paying supplement to see with the owner directly.
