This stately holiday home with pool is located just 1 km outside Monte San Savino on a small hill. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living area with dining room, open fireplace, bathroom and a rustic summer kitchen with pizza oven, which is pleasantly cool even in summer. A wide stone staircase leads via the loggia to the first floor: first you enter the large living/dining room with open fireplace, with adjoining modern kitchen; from here you continue to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A (steep!) staircase leads to the upper floor, where you reach the 4th bedroom and the bathroom via a small lounge with sofa bed.
In front of the house there is a shady patio seating area with barbecue; the pool area is behind the house, with level access directly from the holiday home. The special feature of this holiday home is the spacious park and natural grounds with a small pine forest, its own spring, olive groves and fruit tree meadow, with various seating areas and an area for ball games (badminton, volleyball, bocce). The caretaker lives in an outbuilding with separate access.
From here you can also easily reach the pretty little town of Monte San Savino on foot, where you will find various bars, good restaurants and gelaterias. For keen city travellers there are also Arezzo (20 km, also by train), Cortona 30 km, Siena 50 km and Florence 80 km. The warm thermal baths of Rapolano Terme are around 25km away; Lake Trasimeno is 35km away. Monte San Savino offers a wide range of cultural events in summer, especially concerts in the rose garden; on Wednesdays there is a colourful market. Unpaved access road 200m.
