The villa is in Kalamaki on the south coast of Crete, very close to the beach and the sea (100m), enclosed by a natural stone wall with an electronic gate.
The bedrooms provide direct access to the sun deck with sun loungers, one of the many relaxation areas the house has to offer. Enjoy the chlorine-free and heatable pool 9 x 4 x 1.6m for swimming, or indulge in the massage shower, or the whirlpool Jacuzzi or relaxing under one of the parasols on the large lawn by the house. The fitness area with a treadmill, multi-trainer and bench will also contribute to your well-being. You can prepare a delicious cocktail in the new outdoor bar/kitchen and enjoy a spectacular sunset from the whirlpool with a view of the blue sea. That’s what holiday feels like!
Villa Delfini is a young, light and generous luxury villa on a 1500m² site, with many exclusive details. It has a tasteful and unique interior and furnishing, ensuring a pleasant and unforgettable stay. A small stairway in the entrance area leads to the open upper living area, affording a breathtaking view of the landscape and sea. It is fitted with the latest ‘smart home electronics’ and Wi-Fi. It has a kitchen and dining space equipped with a fridge with a freezer compartment, a stove and oven, a kettle, toaster, crockery and utensils for four people. The living room provides a comfortable leather sofa that can easily be converted into a double bed. Underfloor heating, a coffee table, a TV armchair and Skype sat TV with a Dolby Surround system and a Blu-ray player round off the room. A spiral stairway leads to the lower living area. The exclusive Pierre Cardin bedrooms are individually furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), a wardrobe, bedside tables, a desk and air conditioning. The bathroom features high-quality tiles and has a bath with massage jets and a shower, as well as a washbasin, Pitsos washing machine and dryer, hairdryer, hand and shower towels.
You can enjoy a beach holiday with plenty of space in the sun on the kilometre-long sandy beach. By the lovely, natural, wide sandy beach at Kalamaki there is a little pedestrian promenade with several good restaurants and cafes. On the parallel street behind it there are little guesthouses and shops. Kalamaki is an ideal holiday destination especially for families and those who like it a bit quieter. In recent years Kalamaki has become a little oasis and is considered a quiet alternative to Matala. The beach at Kalamaki is part of the Messara bay that has about 7km of sandy beach. About 200 metres to the south of the village it adjoins the Komos beach that belongs to Pitsidia. It is part of one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. On the Pitsidia beach within walking distance there is a fenced archaeological excavation site, where the Minoan harbour of Phaistos was found. The beach is never overcrowded even in the height of summer. The giant Caretta Caretta turtles bury their eggs here in the early summer and one can see the little turtles hatch from August.
