In winter ice fishing and skating are possible. The rent of the house includes the fishing license for the lakes Tjurken, Osasjön, Fenen, Stor Immen, Borrasjön, Trehörningarna, Olasjön and Malasjön. The house is within reach of Banvallsleden, a path for bicycles and walks. You can easily get to Ryssby by bike for shopping, 5 km. A longer bike ride also to Karlshamn is possible. In Ljungby, 18 km away, you can shop and eat well and visit the Sago Museum. The whole area is also called Sagobygden or Sjöriket, the land of fairy tales and lakes. In this beautiful nature you will discover the blooming liverworts in Målaskogberg. In winter you can go skiing in Myrebo.
