The pre-Ikea cheap furniture dates back to the time the building was completed. An upgrade of this furniture to more recent stuff would make the dwelling a very pleasant accommodation. As it is, one has to compensate with the outside view, which is breathtaking. Mr Baldoni who was in charge of the apartment has been very helpful and a reference for directions in the area. 200 steps bring to the Morcone bay beach. It might be demanding for an elderly person the return uphill (the steps are very steep). Downtown Capoliveri is less than 10 min by car as well as the Innamorata beach. Overall we would return to this place of which we also liked the fact there was no TV and air conditioning.”
