Welcome to Le Cabardès! Situated between the Montagne Noire and the famous medieval city of Carcassonne (10 minutes away) you will stay in a beautiful contemporary villa with a large terrace at the back of the gite where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Montagne Noire, the authentic village of Conques and the surrounding countryside. The village has many shops (grocery shop, restaurant, tabac, pizzeria, bakery) within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The gîte is within easy reach of several of the region's must-see places: the Canal du Midi, the Giant Abyss of Cabrespine, the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois, the sentier des capitelles, the Cathar castles of Lastours and Lac de la Cavayère. The Montagne Noire is also full of treasures (landscapes, waterfalls). On site at the gîte you will have a large private terrace at the back under a pergola with garden furniture and barbecue, as well as a small terrace at the front of the house to enjoy breakfast or a break in front of the olive tree with a large outdoor space. The car parking is secure and private in front of the garage door. The gîte is totally independent and on one level, with a large living room with a sitting area (sofas and TV), a dining table and a fully equipped open plan kitchen which gives access to the terrace. An independent bathroom with double washbasin, an Italian shower and a bath. An independent WC. A first bedroom with a double bed. The second bedroom is equipped with a 140cm bed and a private and adjoining shower room (double basin and Italian shower as well as a WC). A laundry room with a washing machine and where you can put your bikes. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Cleaning is optional.
