Gollwitz is considered an insider tip of the island because of its hidden location and its very good water quality with natural, fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. Due to the offshore shallow water area, the beach here is particularly child-friendly.
A restaurant and café as well as beach snack bar are located within walking distance, as well as the church village with some shopping facilities. The Baltic side of the island is exclusively usable for pedestrians and cyclists, as it is a car-free zone. In addition to two equestrian farms and a surfing and kitesurfing school, numerous other tourist providers offer varied opportunities for your vacation.
